The poem

In our blood flow, the same branching deltas. In our skin, the same membrane-thin panels, built sturdy for the gathering of air, of sun. We are all made for the brief work of a season, a lifetime. We are all ruled by fractal logic, by a grammar of forms. We are all, by coincidence, as beautiful as stained glass, letting, for a moment, the light shine through.
