The story

Dawn light, and your last morning on safari. Of the big five, only the leopard has eluded you. The rover bumps through a rough three-point turn, headed back to camp. And then, you catch a movement, a flash of dun hide. You're not seeing the leopard at first; only a full-sized impala, limp and heavy, dead but somehow on the move. It takes a minute to make sense of it. Graceful, silent, the leopard navigates the tree in a few graceful bounds, in spite of the weight of her kill, to deliver breakfast to the cub waiting safely in the treetops.
