A custom item is a one-of-a-kind piece designed and handcrafted just for you by Kathryn T. S. Bass, maker-in-residence at Fox & Fable in Centennial, Colorado.

How it works

Every custom piece begins with a conversation. You share your vision — a color palette, a stone you love, a story you want to tell, an occasion you want to mark — and I'll bring it to life using my collection of semi-precious and precious stones, rare findings, and fine metals. The result is a wearable treasure made specifically for you or your loved one, in the Fox & Fable tradition of pieces that carry meaning.

Pricing

A non-refundable design fee of $69 is required to begin your custom project. This fee initiates our conversation and secures your place in my making queue. The final price will depend on the materials chosen and the complexity of the build — I'll provide a full estimate before any additional charges are made. No surprises, I promise.

What you might receive

Custom pieces at Fox & Fable can include earrings, purse charms, decorative hanging flair, and more. If you'd like, I can also write a custom story or poem for your piece, delivered within 2–3 days of completion.

How to get started

Purchase your deposit here, and then reach out to start a conversation. You can contact me through the Fox & Fable contact form, by emailing hello@foxandfable.us, or via Instagram. Once we've talked through your vision, and agreed on a design direction and agreed on deadlines and pricing, I can get started making. I will share pictures throughout the process for your review. If, during the initial conversation, it becomes clear that we're not a good fit, I may refund your deposit at my discretion. Deposits are otherwise non-refundable once making has begun.
